Podrobnosti o produkte
AVPro Edge stands alone on the leading edge of HDBaseT evolution…again. Incorporating a newly designed, highly integrated System on Chip into our venerable AC-EX100-444 platform, we once more extend the boundaries of high performance video distribution with our first HDBT Spec 3.0, point-to-point, long-distance Category cable extension package, the AC-EX100-444-KIT.
The AC-EX100-444-KIT introduces for the first time eARC into AVPro Edge extenders and touts an AVPro Edge exclusive 18Gbps Bandwidth-Adaptable Output Configuration, for uncompressed signal transfer or selectable compression using our transformative ICT algorithm, both with near-zero latency. Ethernet is augmented to 1Gbps, enhancing RX unit end-point value.
The AC-EX100-444-KIT has evolved into a refined powerhouse of potent features to continue the AVPro Edge tradition for future-forward, backwards compatible, innovative designs with commercial and residential integrators in mind.
Key benefits of using AC-EX100-444-KIT:
Bandwidth-Adaptable Output Configuration: The AC-EX100-444-KIT is designed for up to 18Gbps uncompressed video transport however, if an existing wiring infrastructure proves insufficient for passing 18Gbps, our Invisible Compression Technology (ICT) can be selected for use by a toggle switch, reducing output bandwidth to 10.2Gbps for content display.
ICT is an in-house custom-engineered, compression-transparent, proprietary algorithm that continues to uphold AVPro Edge’s reputation as the standard for video excellence in HDMI matrix switching and signal extension. An industry first at its debut, ICT continues as the class-leading solution for commercial and residential integrators seeking to maintain state-of-the-art image fidelity at system-detached display locations when bandwidth reduction becomes unavoidable. ICT’s specialty is spotlighted by what you won’t see, such as banding, color wash-out, or compression and motion artifacts. An AVPro Edge exclusive, this bandwidth reduction tool is only found on the AC-EX100-444-KIT. When compression must be used, USB/eARC/LAN retain their native bandwidth properties.
Extend 4K60 4:4:4 With HDR Signals: HDCP was conceived to assure content holders copy protection for their media. The 19 conductor HDMI format was designed to facilitate this process when transporting media between devices, using a total of 8, small gauge wires to handle video information with the bulk of those remaining devoted to system policing. It wasn’t envisioned that sources would be placed elsewhere than the immediate display location, and the first HDMI cable designs dramatically exemplified these inherent problems with a useable HDMI cable length barely exceeding fifteen feet. Over time, this thankfully has been addressed in a variety of well-sorted ways, including AVPro Edge Bullet Train cables. Still, there are no “on-site, made to length” HDMI cables however with unrivaled ease, the extraordinary AC-EX-100-444-KIT extends a high bandwidth UHD 4K source an impressive three hundred and twenty-eight feet (100 meters) including Dolby Vision, HDR10 or HDR10+.
Near-Zero Latency: Latency is less than 8 microseconds, measurable but visually undetectable.
Improved USB Bandwidth For KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse): USB bandwidth has been improved to 390Mbps, making the AC-EX100-444-KIT an ideal candidate for KVM applications. A connected computer via USB A to the T3 transmitter can be controlled from up to 100 meters away with a mouse or keyboard connected to the R3 receiver. The AC-EX100-444-KIT is a perfect solution for use in schools or any application requiring long distance USB control.
Downscaling: Problem-solving scaling circuitry is incorporated into the AC-EX100-444-KIT transmitter chassis, capable of rescaling UHD 4K (including HDR signals) to 1080P. When paired with an AVPro Edge HDMI matrix switcher, scaling with EDID management allows the extender to tailor signal delivery in the highest caliber when legacy displays are retained. Heavy lifting by the AC-EX100-444-KIT simplifies deployment and prevents diluted performance in a mixed system.
Audio Extraction: PCM 2 Channel L/R Audio can be extracted from the transmitter end through the TOSLINK digital output and sent to an AVR or distribution amplifier. NOTE: This port will only work when the source is set to output 2-Channel Audio. If downmixing is required, please see the AVPro Edge AC-AVDM-AUHD.
eARC Support: This is the first AVPro Edge extension kit to feature eARC, compatible with all high bitrate and immersive audio formats. eARC also makes HDCP “handshaking” between compatible products smoother without the frequent complications often associated with CEC.
Onboard Troubleshooting: Leave your Fox & Hound test kit behind in the shop? The AC-EX100-444-KIT has you covered. When required, the transmitter can generate a 1080p or 4K test pattern to aid with wire verification, switcher configuration settings, or source viability.
Comprehensive EDID Management: Legacy HD displays are often retained for use in new installation projects and occasionally their dated EDIDs impart problems contending with present-day sources. Robust EDID control on the AC-EX100-444-KIT enables juggling video resolutions and audio codec combinations for an EDID that provides a congenial match for reliable system operation. EDID Copy allows for acute copying and saving of a known, working EDID, for stable kit functionality and HDCP repeatability.
Control Options: Configurable, bidirectional control for IR & RS-232 signals provides a carefully nuanced added plus to the AC-EX100-444-KIT, consolidating wiring to a solitary pull and mitigating the use of supplemental devices for a clean, efficient installation. Simplified control requirements can take advantage of the AC-EX100-444-KIT’s I-PASS, forwarding commands directly from a control system IR-out port into the TX unit I-PASS input, proceeding to the receiving end and routing directly from the RX unit’s IR-out into the display’s IR input jack (if equipped) or through an attached IR emitter.
ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection adds a welcomed layer of defense for all connected products.
Cascadable: The AC-EX100-444-KIT features HDMI signal equalization and amplification, enabling “daisy chaining” with multiple AC-EX100-444-KIT extenders for ultra-long distance transmission. With AVPro Edge’s unique bi-directional power, there is no need for an intermediately located power source. Simply power the first Tx and the second Rx and power will be provided to the middle remotely.
